On Thursday 5th November 2026, Ebenezer’s is proud to welcome Sara Milonovich, travelling all the way from the United States for a rare UK appearance, as she makes her debut in the Roots at Ebenezer’s live-streamed concert series. Crossing the Atlantic especially for this performance, Sara brings a sound shaped by the landscapes and stories of the American Northeast — an evening that promises to feel both expansive and deeply intimate.
Performing as a stripped-back duo with her longtime guitarist, producer and Daisycutter bandmate Greg Anderson, Sara creates a rich, dynamic musical conversation. Her expressive fiddle playing and evocative songwriting intertwine seamlessly with Greg’s textured guitar work and instinctive musicality. Drawing on material from her acclaimed album Northeast, the set will journey through rustic reflections, haunting ballads and open-road anthems — songs grounded in story, melody and emotional truth, delivered with warmth and authenticity.
Greg’s sensitive, inventive accompaniment lies at the heart of Sara’s recorded and live sound, and this intimate setting places their musical chemistry front and centre. A highly respected collaborator, he has worked with artists including Eileen Ivers, Richard Shindell, Cry Cry Cry, Cathie Ryan, Doctor Nerve and The Klezmatics. For UK audiences, this is a special opportunity to experience an artist making the journey from America to share her music in an up-close and personal setting — a compelling night of roots music at its most powerful, heartfelt and immediate.
