Thunder and Rain

Roots at Ebenezer's is proud to welcome Thunder and Rain to Crewe on Wednesday 26th August for what promises to be a very special evening of live Americana and newgrass music. Hailing from Nashville, this talented trio have spent over a decade carving out a sound that's entirely their own – threading bluegrass instrumentation through award-winning songwriting that draws on pop, country, classic rock, and old-time tradition. With thunderous banjo, soaring fiddle, and three-part harmonies that'll give you goosebumps, Thunder and Rain are the real deal.

Founded by singer-songwriter Erinn Peet Lukes and now completed by Amelia Ransom on fiddle and Laura Ray on banjo, the band has shared stages with the likes of Billy Strings, Peter Rowan, and The Kruger Brothers, and their 2020 single Run With You was selected for the prestigious IBMA Songwriter Showcase in 2023. Their fourth album, Storybook Sessions, released in October 2024, marks an exciting new chapter – tighter harmonies, a more traditional acoustic feel, and songwriting that gets right under your skin. If you haven't heard them yet, you're in for a treat.

This is a live-streamed gig as part of our Roots at Ebenezer's programme, and tickets are just £10.00 – but availability is strictly limited, so don't hang about. Grab your pint, find your spot, and get ready for a night of incredible music right here at Ebenezer's Taproom in Crewe. Tickets won't last long, so book yours now before you miss out.
