Respected roots songwriter Phil Ashmore is no stranger to the national and international Americana scene. We'll be hosting Phil and his full band featuring soul-stirring melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. Expect heartfelt ballads and foot-stomping country rock.

Horsenecks

The Horsenecks are Gabrielle Macrae and Barry Southern. Based in Astoria, Oregon, they are two multi-instrumentalists who have come together from traditional music backgrounds. They've found a sound that weaves through layers of influence that include early Appalachian fiddle and banjo music, country, classic bluegrass and original folk.

Royal South

Individual artists in their own right, Sara Beth and Glen Mitchell have come together to form the harmony powerhouse Royal South. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the Texas and London natives have attracted the attention of renowned producer, Paul Worley, who produces the Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum and Martina McBride.

Brooks & Aaron

Brooks Williams (USA) & Aaron Catlow (UK) are back on tour following recording success with Josh Clark (Kate Rusby) and Jon Short (John Martyn Project). Their upcoming album Greens And Blues is a vibrant collection of songs, some penned by Williams and others by Molly Tuttle, Gillian Welch, Shirley Collins, and many others.

Those Folk

Clare Quinn (AUS) & Lawrence Menard (USA) are the transpacific-troubadours known as 'Those Folk.' A partnership forged in the fires of folk music. The duo explore the rich sounds of the 1960's folk revival genre and weave it into contemporary Americana. Expect breathtaking vocal harmonies alongside rich instrumental work.

The Horse Puppets

The Horse Puppets is the new name for The Retrosettes, a folk/roots acoustic group from Manchester. The band have recently returned from a European tour supporting Simply Red. Their rich instrumentation, compelling performances and unique sound has made them festival favourites. They also feature regularly on music stations such as BBC 6 Music.

The Shucks

The Shucks bring a chaotic fusion of country styles to an unsuspecting public, drawing influences from Zac Brown Band to Jason Isbell. Their first EP 'The Shuck Life' garnered rave reviews and has been a firm favourite on radio stations across the world. Now their second EP 'From The Bottle' is just about to be released and we know it's going to surpass their first!
